5Great Purchase  Oct 15, 2007
By M. Rappard
I own a Sport Phil and Ted's stroller and wasn't very pleased with their cup holder option. I saw Bob's and decided to give it a try. I am happy to say that it has worked great. Phil and Ted's stroller has several handle angle options and although at some angles it is difficult to maneuver a water bottle in and out, overall it works wonderfully. Also, because Bob's cup holder is Velcro, you can adjust the straps to make the cup holder level no matter what angle you have the handlebar at.

5Great, adaptable Console  Mar 09, 2006
By M. Bock "Mumof2boys"
I bought this console for my Phil and Ted's E3 Stroller and love it! It's given me the extra space I neeed (for drinks, cell phone, snacks) and is not bulky in any way. I'm able to leave it on when I fold the stroller, and it stays in place! Highly recommend for jogging strollers!

5GOOD CONSOLE  Jan 20, 2007
By Mary Beth Miller
I purchased this console for my phil and teds e3 and it fits perfectly. I finally have a spot for everything like keys, sippy cups, bottles, digi camera that I take everywhere! My only prob is that the holes for the bottles could be a bit bigger, not all water bottles fit in there, than again I tend to carry the really big ones. I like that it is all the very durable fabric vs a hard plastic console and washes up nice, after a coffee incident, which I now know is not the best thing to take along for a bumpy stroll.

4Good, but there are other options  Sep 17, 2010
By Raivyn "Raivyn"
I have a BOB Revolution 12" stroller, and it was quickly apparent that some sort of stroller console was necessary. I picked up the BOB console, but then found the JL Childress Cups N Cool, so I picked it up also to check it out. I was attracted to the cooler feature since I currently have to bring a separate cooler bag for my baby's milk bottles. Here is my comparison between the two.

Construction: Winner - BOB Console

The BOB console is better made and has a nicer finish than the Cups N Cool console. The zipper glides more smoothly with double zippers that include bright yellow zipper pulls. The cup holders have nicely hidden seams. The Cups N Cool console zippers have wimpy zipper pulls (only one per zipper), and tend to get stuck when the zipper goes in curves of the openings. The velcro straps of the BOB console are reinforced with canvas that is stitched throughout its whole length. The velcro straps of the Cups N Cool have nylon that is of lesser quality (the weave isn't as tight) and I have concerns that it would tear if decent weight was placed in the console. This is a problem considering the cooler section would tend to get heavy.

Features: Winner - Cups N Cool Console

Two zippered pockets, one that is a cooler and one that can double as a second cup holder make the Cups N Cool much more versatile and useful than the BOB console. The cooler pocket easily fits an ice pack and two 9oz Avent bottles. If using the cooler pocket as a cooler, the 2nd zippered pocket becomes very useful as a place for keys and cell phone. I typically don't use both cup holders in the BOB console for water and would prefer a 2nd zippered pocket. That 2nd pocket can be used as a cup holder if necessary, which makes the Cups N Cool much more versatile. One thing to note is that the bottom of the BOB cup holders is a fine mesh which allows condensation to drip away, while the Cups N Cool isn't, and pools condensation at the bottom.

Value: Winner - Cups N Cool Console

The BOB console costs more $$, not much, but given the additional and versatile features, I think the Cups N Cool conosle is a better choice if you don't need two cup holders all the time, and don't weigh it down too much. The insulated pocket is a great asset, especially for me since I frequently walk with my baby and always carry a spare bottle in case I need to feed him before I make it home. It's also great given the BOB Revolution's small basket - the Cups N Cool offers more storage; not much, but the right kind of storage.

I gave this 4 stars because I really like the two zippered pockets and the cooler function of the Cups N Cool console. If you don't need those features, then the BOB stroller deserves 5 stars because it is solid.

The Importance Of Lighting In Interior Design

   by Jessica Ackerman

Everyone knows how important paint color, furniture choices and artwork are to interior design. One aspect of design that is often overlooked, however, is lighting. Lighting not only affects the brightness of the room, but it can also change the way a paint color looks, cast shadows in ways that make the room seem smaller and have an impact on the presentation of art work.

There is no light like natural light. If you are buying, building or remodeling, opt for as much natural light as possible. Oversized windows and skylights are two ways to get the most natural light. Of course, not everyone is in the position to be able to do that, so you'll have to work with what you have.

How much natural light do you get in your room? If the room in question faces north, you won't get as much natural sunlight as you would in a southern facing room. Rooms that face south get bright, natural light throughout the day. Rooms that face east will only have good natural light in the morning hours and western facing rooms will have the most light during the afternoon.

Once you are familiar with how much natural light is in each room, you'll be able to make informed choices about what additional lighting may be necessary. Keep in mind that rooms with little or no natural light will need artificial lighting - even during the day - in order to look their best. Here are some types of lighting to consider.

1. Accent Lighting

Accent lighting is perfect when you want to showcase a piece of art or a special piece of furniture or other item. Since light draws the eye, it will bring attention to the features in your room that you wish to highlight.

2. Hanging Light Features

Chandeliers and smaller hanging lamps can be beautiful as well as functional. A trip to the local home improvement store will quickly show you how overwhelming the choices can be. You'll want to select lighting that blends in with your existing décor. For example, a crystal chandelier in a country themed dining room probably isn't the best option. If you don't choose carefully, your lighting may stick out like a sore thumb and become more of an eyesore than a lovely accent.

3. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lighting is a good choice for a room that needs extra light throughout the day. Because the lighting won't interfere with the existing decor, it can work in almost any room. It provides abundant light without taking up a lot of space or interfering with other aspects of the room.

4. Lamps

Using lamps are a way to add not only additional lighting, but also punches of color. If possible, see how much light the lamp gives off before leaving the store. Many lamps serve as decoration more than as a light source and give off very little light. If you love the lamp, but it doesn't give off quite enough light, consider changing the shade which will usually solve the problem.

When decorating your home, remember how important lighting is, and give it the same thought and attention you give to the other details of decorating your home.
