1Worst bra. Ever  Oct 03, 2008
By T. Holcomb "Jeannie"
I give it no stars.

I wish I had read these reviews before purchasing. I would have to agree with the small band size wearers. I am a 36DDD, and this bra was just an awkward fit. Being that it is SO hard to find a bra in my size I could have lived with just that. But to make an uncomfortable situation worse the straps and band are made of something akin to organza, which may be 'pretty' but on your skin it's just like a fine grit sandpaper. Also, along the bottom of the band (in the organza from hell we shall call it,) there is sewn a very taut, small, round elastic. I am assuming the purpose of this is to keep the organza from hell band from slipping, as organza is wont to do. What it feels like is tiny spikes adhering the sandpaper to you. To top it all off the stitching on the clasps, at least on mine, was clipped at the bottom corners on the skin side. The thread is similar to that in a cheap comforter, nylon like, and it actually did leave two sores on my back. And I only wore The Beast for 6 hours.

Yes, I'm pretty sure this bra is the anti-Christ.

So if someone is holding you under duress, or you are a lemming (in which case you don't need a bra and they don't really jump off cliffs, you know, check snopes), go a band size up. I still think it will torment you, but if you're into that then I'm sure you'll be okay with this evil bra.

ATTN BRA MANUFACTURERS: We buxom lassies would like a fair bit more consideration in your game. Especially those of us who wear the small band sizes. We are more in number than you think, maybe you should do some polls. Yes, I heavily suggest you do some polls. Not only on size, but on comfort and fit as well. When you get size, fit, and comfort down we would like some variety. I refuse to believe that one cannot make a pretty bra in my size. With some nice color selection. And we'd like as fair a price as you give everyone else.

Do some polls.

Completely Frustrated with the Bra Industry,
Jeannie 'I hate this bra' Holcomb

5Great bra!  Feb 10, 2008
By smeroff "smeroff"
This is a very nice, modest bra. It is a more tailored style, but still pretty. It has a lining that provides shaping and is smooth enough to disappear under clothes. Best of all, these "shaping petals" fused inside the cups really do almost completely eliminate any display of being "chilly" and help avoid the embarassment that causes. A first of its kind! I found it fit me true-to-size, also. I ordered one to try it out, and will definitely purchase more. I do wish they had a few more color choices, but the neutrals are good.

1poorly shaped cups  Apr 28, 2008
By alias25
like janet d. says, all small band wearers take caution. i bought a 32dd, and the cup is very poorly shaped. it feels as though they took a large bra and simply shortened the band-- the cup is much too wide and flat. the underwire extends beyond the edge of my breast, there's gaping under the arms, bulging at the front, flattening of breasts, and the concealer petals don't sit in the right place for me. this might just be a symptom of small band sizes, but all buyers should know that the width/depth of the cups are not adjusted based on the band size. the diameter of this cup was 6" as opposed to the 5" in my other 32dd bras.

1HORRIBLE FIT  Feb 29, 2008
By Janet D. "rock goddess"
THIS HAS TO BE THE WORST BRA I HAVE EVER TRIED ON..

IF YOU ARE "D" OR "DD", EVEN WITH A SMALL BAND, DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT.

NO SIDE SUPPORT, SO SUPPORT AT AT ALL

WHAT WAS BALI THINKING WHEN THEY DESIGNED THIS BRA.

5Bali Concealers!  Jul 22, 2010
By dcfran50
I have been looking everywhere to gather a palette of colors of this bra. The colors are beautiful. The bra supports me beautifully, and with the hidden concealer, I never have to worry about revealing something I don't want to! Love them!

The Importance Of Lighting In Interior Design

   by Jessica Ackerman

Everyone knows how important paint color, furniture choices and artwork are to interior design. One aspect of design that is often overlooked, however, is lighting. Lighting not only affects the brightness of the room, but it can also change the way a paint color looks, cast shadows in ways that make the room seem smaller and have an impact on the presentation of art work.

There is no light like natural light. If you are buying, building or remodeling, opt for as much natural light as possible. Oversized windows and skylights are two ways to get the most natural light. Of course, not everyone is in the position to be able to do that, so you'll have to work with what you have.

How much natural light do you get in your room? If the room in question faces north, you won't get as much natural sunlight as you would in a southern facing room. Rooms that face south get bright, natural light throughout the day. Rooms that face east will only have good natural light in the morning hours and western facing rooms will have the most light during the afternoon.

Once you are familiar with how much natural light is in each room, you'll be able to make informed choices about what additional lighting may be necessary. Keep in mind that rooms with little or no natural light will need artificial lighting - even during the day - in order to look their best. Here are some types of lighting to consider.

1. Accent Lighting

Accent lighting is perfect when you want to showcase a piece of art or a special piece of furniture or other item. Since light draws the eye, it will bring attention to the features in your room that you wish to highlight.

2. Hanging Light Features

Chandeliers and smaller hanging lamps can be beautiful as well as functional. A trip to the local home improvement store will quickly show you how overwhelming the choices can be. You'll want to select lighting that blends in with your existing décor. For example, a crystal chandelier in a country themed dining room probably isn't the best option. If you don't choose carefully, your lighting may stick out like a sore thumb and become more of an eyesore than a lovely accent.

3. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lighting is a good choice for a room that needs extra light throughout the day. Because the lighting won't interfere with the existing decor, it can work in almost any room. It provides abundant light without taking up a lot of space or interfering with other aspects of the room.

4. Lamps

Using lamps are a way to add not only additional lighting, but also punches of color. If possible, see how much light the lamp gives off before leaving the store. Many lamps serve as decoration more than as a light source and give off very little light. If you love the lamp, but it doesn't give off quite enough light, consider changing the shade which will usually solve the problem.

When decorating your home, remember how important lighting is, and give it the same thought and attention you give to the other details of decorating your home.
