4Not a bad bra! Supportive, uplifting  Mar 15, 2003

Hi! I have worn this style bra (Flower Bali) for the past 2 years. I think it is a good choice for full-figured women. Unlike many other bras, it doesn't flatten you out, but rather helps your shape be lifted upwards and out--it kind of takes your tissue (I'm trying to be delicate with word choice here) and helps project it outwards instead of flattening it out towards your sides or letting it fall downwards as many larger bras do. The result is you look like you have a thinner waist and a better figure. It gives you a really nice shape. I definitely feel more attractive wearing this bra. It is pretty comfortable for an underwire. If you happen to wear the rarely-available sizes of 32DD or 32DDD, take heart, the flower bali comes in both! As far as looks go it is a pretty bra, with smooth cups, and comes in beige, black, and white, although they (Bali) don't make certain sizes (I think the 32DDD for example) in the black. There is a pretty flower embroidery at the top of each cup, but it doesn't interfere with what you wear over it. Nice!

5This is the ONLY bra  Oct 20, 2007
By L. Edwards "book addict"
I agree with the reviewer before me! It's a magic bra because it makes me feel a little bigger (a good thing), and it makes her feel smaller (a good thing for her). AND it's the ONLY bra I've ever found that holds things tight for working out. No sports bra has ever kept me like this bra does. I wear it for working out and going out. The only bra you'll ever need. And no, I don't work for them, I'm just one really satisfied customer. They'd better never remove this one from their line.

5Awesome Bra!  Oct 13, 2007
By nickles
This bra is IT!!
I have searched for years, for a bra that actually 'lifts and separates' (LOL!) This one does it! I am very self-conscious about my 40DD size, and this bra really makes them seem MUCH smaller. I will wear this for the rest of my life.
Only problem I know of is, after lots of wear (like every day for 5-6 mos.), the under wire has a tendency to pop out, right near the armpit. But I have gone so far as to sew the hole shut, just so I can continue wearing this lovely bra (until I can buy a new one, of course!)
I highly recommend this bra if you want to look smaller and 'perkier'. :)

5Comfortable And Supportive All Day  Nov 15, 2010
By L. Shirley "Laurie's Boomer Views"
I never thought I would ever give 5 stars to an underwire bra. I hate them. I was so happy when supportive sports bras hit the market, and I practically live in those. But sometimes you just need a really good underwire bra. So for more then a quarter century I've been wearing them. They made me feel old even before I was 30. At best I found them uncomfortable, at worst torture chambers that sometimes even poked me after just a few washing. Never met one I liked...until now.

This Bali Flower Underwire is so comfortable, I can wear it all day and then some and forget that I'm even wearing an underwire. I recently was on a road trip spending the better part of 10 hours a day on the road driving or sight seeing. At night, changing for sleep, I realized I'd worn it all day without noticing it. It's also very supportive and has 4 hooks - instead of the usual 2 or 3 - and 3 options for tightness.
The straps once adjusted stayed put, the flowers design - very pretty- lays flat and is at the top of the cup right under some pretty netting so when adjusted just right gives a smooth look as well - all day.

It's light in weight and the light beige color works well under light colored blouses for me.I've washed it several times already(I have hand washed it and being so light didn't take long to dry)and so far it seems like a very good quality, making it a good buy as well.It is the only underwire I have that I will wear now,so I'm back today to order another in a darker color.

Thanks and Happy Shopping.....Laurie

P.S. Amazon - Thanks for the suggestion to make an "action" video review, but I'll take a pass on this one!

5I Just Love his Bra!  Oct 16, 2010
By L. C. Bone "Boney Maroney"
This bra is incredible! It is true to size and makes my bosom look perky instead of droopy and round like those padded round ones you see everywhere! So Glad I found it!

The Importance Of Lighting In Interior Design

   by Jessica Ackerman

Everyone knows how important paint color, furniture choices and artwork are to interior design. One aspect of design that is often overlooked, however, is lighting. Lighting not only affects the brightness of the room, but it can also change the way a paint color looks, cast shadows in ways that make the room seem smaller and have an impact on the presentation of art work.

There is no light like natural light. If you are buying, building or remodeling, opt for as much natural light as possible. Oversized windows and skylights are two ways to get the most natural light. Of course, not everyone is in the position to be able to do that, so you'll have to work with what you have.

How much natural light do you get in your room? If the room in question faces north, you won't get as much natural sunlight as you would in a southern facing room. Rooms that face south get bright, natural light throughout the day. Rooms that face east will only have good natural light in the morning hours and western facing rooms will have the most light during the afternoon.

Once you are familiar with how much natural light is in each room, you'll be able to make informed choices about what additional lighting may be necessary. Keep in mind that rooms with little or no natural light will need artificial lighting - even during the day - in order to look their best. Here are some types of lighting to consider.

1. Accent Lighting

Accent lighting is perfect when you want to showcase a piece of art or a special piece of furniture or other item. Since light draws the eye, it will bring attention to the features in your room that you wish to highlight.

2. Hanging Light Features

Chandeliers and smaller hanging lamps can be beautiful as well as functional. A trip to the local home improvement store will quickly show you how overwhelming the choices can be. You'll want to select lighting that blends in with your existing décor. For example, a crystal chandelier in a country themed dining room probably isn't the best option. If you don't choose carefully, your lighting may stick out like a sore thumb and become more of an eyesore than a lovely accent.

3. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lighting is a good choice for a room that needs extra light throughout the day. Because the lighting won't interfere with the existing decor, it can work in almost any room. It provides abundant light without taking up a lot of space or interfering with other aspects of the room.

4. Lamps

Using lamps are a way to add not only additional lighting, but also punches of color. If possible, see how much light the lamp gives off before leaving the store. Many lamps serve as decoration more than as a light source and give off very little light. If you love the lamp, but it doesn't give off quite enough light, consider changing the shade which will usually solve the problem.

When decorating your home, remember how important lighting is, and give it the same thought and attention you give to the other details of decorating your home.
