5Beautiful Bouncer  Jul 07, 2008
By Melissa Buck "Mommy of 5"
I was in the market for a bouncer Baby #5, and did want something that was loud and screamed primary baby. We recently purchased a new home, and having a baby can literally take over your home especially your living room. This Bouncer is beautiful. It matches the color scheme of my home, and looks like an additional piece of furniture. Although I have never had a C-section, I have heard it is difficult to bend & pick up baby, etc. You can pull the bouncer right up to the couch or chair and the baby is at your level, no bending. It has a great storage underneath for blankets, etc. Beware there is no gadgets like lights or waterfalls, etc. but it does vibrate and play sounds. The seat is very roomy and it does recline flat for baby napping. Was very easy to put together, did not need my husbands help. Overall, beautiful bouncer have owned at least 3 different models, this is by far my favorite.

5My son loves this seat!  Jul 07, 2008
By Lisa Roa "nurselisa_99"
I bought this for my son when he was 2 weeks old. He hated the Fisher Price Rainforest bouncer seat and I wanted to be able to reach him from the couch or floor while I was pumping. My son sleeps soundly in this for his naps without any trouble. I can tell when the boucing turns itself off after about 20 or 30 minutes because he will start to stir a bit. He loves the nature sounds which are more like white noise and he is starting to get into the music as he gets a bit older. You can rock the chair with your foot and it slides easily across the carpet. We even slide him into the dining room when we eat in this seat so we can see him better from the table. Don't buy another bouncer seat, you won't like it as much as this one! The only things I don't like are the toy bar doesn't stay in that well and it is too far away for my son to reach. Also, the bouncing will turn itself off and he likes it to stay on.

3Nice Seat, Bad Toy Bar  Jun 30, 2009
By Wyatt's Mama
I received this seat as a shower present. We really liked it when our baby was a newborn; he even slept in at night for several weeks. We especially liked that it was higher off the ground than most bouncer seats. We have a bulldog and she was not able to give the baby kisses in this seat! Cons: Now that our baby is 4 months old he is able to kick or pull the toy bar off in a matter of seconds and is bored without it ;-(

5magic chair  Sep 24, 2008
By Kat Scratch
I am the lucky grandmother of two new baby boys, six weeks and fourteen weeks old. I thought this looked like a good place to put a grandbaby when one came to visit and I was SO right. We have started calling it the magic chair. They are so comfortable, they just snuggle down and watch the world go by until they can't keep their eyes open. And then they go to sleep...for an hour at a time. All it needs is somehing to make it rock once in a while.

5AWESOME!!!  Aug 09, 2008
By The Larkin Clan
We recieved this seat as a gift and we love it. It was easy to assemble, sits just a little under the arm of our sectional(great to help keep the dog away) and the storage tray underneath holds alot. The toy bar doesn't stay in very well, but other than that i would recommed this seat to anyone, plus it blends in very well with it's nuetral colors.

The Importance Of Lighting In Interior Design

   by Jessica Ackerman

Everyone knows how important paint color, furniture choices and artwork are to interior design. One aspect of design that is often overlooked, however, is lighting. Lighting not only affects the brightness of the room, but it can also change the way a paint color looks, cast shadows in ways that make the room seem smaller and have an impact on the presentation of art work.

There is no light like natural light. If you are buying, building or remodeling, opt for as much natural light as possible. Oversized windows and skylights are two ways to get the most natural light. Of course, not everyone is in the position to be able to do that, so you'll have to work with what you have.

How much natural light do you get in your room? If the room in question faces north, you won't get as much natural sunlight as you would in a southern facing room. Rooms that face south get bright, natural light throughout the day. Rooms that face east will only have good natural light in the morning hours and western facing rooms will have the most light during the afternoon.

Once you are familiar with how much natural light is in each room, you'll be able to make informed choices about what additional lighting may be necessary. Keep in mind that rooms with little or no natural light will need artificial lighting - even during the day - in order to look their best. Here are some types of lighting to consider.

1. Accent Lighting

Accent lighting is perfect when you want to showcase a piece of art or a special piece of furniture or other item. Since light draws the eye, it will bring attention to the features in your room that you wish to highlight.

2. Hanging Light Features

Chandeliers and smaller hanging lamps can be beautiful as well as functional. A trip to the local home improvement store will quickly show you how overwhelming the choices can be. You'll want to select lighting that blends in with your existing décor. For example, a crystal chandelier in a country themed dining room probably isn't the best option. If you don't choose carefully, your lighting may stick out like a sore thumb and become more of an eyesore than a lovely accent.

3. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lighting is a good choice for a room that needs extra light throughout the day. Because the lighting won't interfere with the existing decor, it can work in almost any room. It provides abundant light without taking up a lot of space or interfering with other aspects of the room.

4. Lamps

Using lamps are a way to add not only additional lighting, but also punches of color. If possible, see how much light the lamp gives off before leaving the store. Many lamps serve as decoration more than as a light source and give off very little light. If you love the lamp, but it doesn't give off quite enough light, consider changing the shade which will usually solve the problem.

When decorating your home, remember how important lighting is, and give it the same thought and attention you give to the other details of decorating your home.
