3Good Watch, but Very Poor Customer Service  May 29, 2006
By D. Lee
I've had my Invicta for 2 years, and paid for the extended 5 year warranty. It has been a good watch; nice looking and durable. In the last few months however, my screws started falling out one by one and now I only have one out of the four that I need. I tried contacting Invicta, and like others, I tried 4-5 times before getting through. They told me twice that they would ship the screws, but never did. After two months of waiting, I decided to write them a letter only to get a postcard back saying I needed to mail the watch in, at my expense, and pay $20 for them to ship it back. How frustrating??!! I don't need it serviced, I only need 3 little screws that are probably worth $.50 that never should have fallen out in the first place. If you buy an Invicta, pray that you'll never need it serviced!

5BIG AND BAD  Aug 29, 2005
By Salvador Bahena
I am an aficionado of big watches. So the lupah dragon watch was just to my liking. Apart from being big I admired the design of the watch it is a conversation starter and ice breaker.

5Great watch very powerful presence  Aug 16, 2007
By LDW
This watch has some unique features only found as far as I know on Invicta. It has a very large mineral crystal dial that is dome shaped. Stands very tall on the wrist, won't go under my shirt sleeves. The dial although very pretty to look at is busy and the time hard to read depending on the light conditions.
Now for the good stuff. Invicta has a patent on the Lupah so you don't see this style everyday. It is the most unique and different watch in my collection,it really stands out and draws a great deal of attention. The strap is called Lorica and again I think Invicta has the only right to use this material for watch straps. This is the most comfortable material ever and makes this watch one of the most comfortable to wear you will ever find, especially in a large watch. Invicta says it is waterproof, scratch proof, as well as fade proof and flame resistant. There are even different strap color choices and the straps have interchangeable pins so you can switch them very quickly. I hope you can tell I really love this watch. It's not for everone as it is large, heavy and different but for those who truly love the uniqueness in a timepiece I think your gonna love it.

5Great Watch!  Nov 18, 2007
By Whooosah
This is my first watch and I ended up buying it from JCPenney on sale. The face of the watch looks a bit different but it is still the 2094 model. It might be an updated version. The fit and finish is pretty good and everything feels solid. It has a nice weight and is pretty large. I've had it for two weeks and love it. It keeps good time and hasn't lost or gained any time since i've had it. The 1/10 second half dial is really creative.

Only thing that somewhat bothers me is the large bubble like mineral crystal. No scratches yet, but it seems prone to them because it sticks out further than pictures justify. Also reading the watch from extreme angles is near impossible because of the large crystal. From more direct views/angles the face is easy to read.

The strap feels great on the wrist and is of high quality. If you are looking at this watch or considering it, I strongly recommend it. First thing that brought me to this watch was the design. I did a bit of further research on invicta and overall they make a great product. Next watch I want to get is the 8926.

3You won't see this bad boy on everyone else's arm...  Oct 10, 2007
By R. M. McDonald
As others have said, this is a big, big watch--the crystal, too, is large and protrudes outward. The face is very interesting and artistic, and would probably be a hassle to wear with long sleeves. It is also, a heavy sucker. That having been said, it is a show stopper and definitely a one of a kind watch for somebody looking for something that is unique.

The Importance Of Lighting In Interior Design

   by Jessica Ackerman

Everyone knows how important paint color, furniture choices and artwork are to interior design. One aspect of design that is often overlooked, however, is lighting. Lighting not only affects the brightness of the room, but it can also change the way a paint color looks, cast shadows in ways that make the room seem smaller and have an impact on the presentation of art work.

There is no light like natural light. If you are buying, building or remodeling, opt for as much natural light as possible. Oversized windows and skylights are two ways to get the most natural light. Of course, not everyone is in the position to be able to do that, so you'll have to work with what you have.

How much natural light do you get in your room? If the room in question faces north, you won't get as much natural sunlight as you would in a southern facing room. Rooms that face south get bright, natural light throughout the day. Rooms that face east will only have good natural light in the morning hours and western facing rooms will have the most light during the afternoon.

Once you are familiar with how much natural light is in each room, you'll be able to make informed choices about what additional lighting may be necessary. Keep in mind that rooms with little or no natural light will need artificial lighting - even during the day - in order to look their best. Here are some types of lighting to consider.

1. Accent Lighting

Accent lighting is perfect when you want to showcase a piece of art or a special piece of furniture or other item. Since light draws the eye, it will bring attention to the features in your room that you wish to highlight.

2. Hanging Light Features

Chandeliers and smaller hanging lamps can be beautiful as well as functional. A trip to the local home improvement store will quickly show you how overwhelming the choices can be. You'll want to select lighting that blends in with your existing décor. For example, a crystal chandelier in a country themed dining room probably isn't the best option. If you don't choose carefully, your lighting may stick out like a sore thumb and become more of an eyesore than a lovely accent.

3. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lighting is a good choice for a room that needs extra light throughout the day. Because the lighting won't interfere with the existing decor, it can work in almost any room. It provides abundant light without taking up a lot of space or interfering with other aspects of the room.

4. Lamps

Using lamps are a way to add not only additional lighting, but also punches of color. If possible, see how much light the lamp gives off before leaving the store. Many lamps serve as decoration more than as a light source and give off very little light. If you love the lamp, but it doesn't give off quite enough light, consider changing the shade which will usually solve the problem.

When decorating your home, remember how important lighting is, and give it the same thought and attention you give to the other details of decorating your home.
