Invicta Men's 8926 Pro Diver Collection Automatic Watch

Big, bold and masculine, the Invicta Men's Pro Diver Automatic watch is an affordable luxury watch with classically styled features. This precisely constructed timepiece for men features a solid stainless steel case that's 40mm wide (1.57 inches). It has a black face with Tritnite luminous hands and markers and a unidirectional black bezel with white numerals and markings. Other features include anti-reflective mineral crystal, date display at 3 o'clock, and water resistance to 200 meters. The stainless steel band features highly-polished center links, and is secured by a fold over clasp with safety.

Pro Diver Collection

Plunge into any horizon using the steadfast guidance of the Invicta Pro Diver. Stylishly classic, internal workings are forged with variations of either Swiss chronograph or 21-jewel automatic movements and willingly navigate in depths up to 300 meters. Built with confident prowess, the fortitude with which these timepieces function makes the Pro Diver the quintessential in performance.

Screw Down Crowns: Many Invicta watches are equipped with a screw down crown to help prevent water infiltration. This is most common on our Diver models. In order to adjust the date and/or time on such a watch, you must first unscrew the crown before you can gently pull it out to its first or second click stop position. To do this, simply rotate the crown counterclockwise until it springs open. When you have finished setting the watch, the crown must then be pushed in and screwed back in tightly. Not doing so will cancel the water resistance of the watch and will void all warranties from the manufacturer. Overall, this process should not require a lot of effort or force.

3Nice appearance, poor quality control  Jul 26, 2010
I recently purchased this watch. It looked nice but I was settling for it because I did not want to spend 3 times as much on the one I wanted. With the reviews, I thought I might get a good one and be happy. The odds were against me.

Pros:
1) Solid build
2) Looks neat from the back
3) Clasp has a safety on it
4) Bezel is painted with good stuff

Cons:
1) Poor quality control. The automatic wind would not retain more than a minute. The manual wind achieved 4 minutes.
2) The date lens is raised quite a bit and is not strong enough to justify having it. If it scratches, bad, it will be useless.
Because of its height, it probably will scratch quickly.
3) The clasp did not have a push button release so it will wear out more quickly than better clasps.
4) The warranty service is poor and costs more than it is worth. Instead of getting it fixed right, I just returned it and will
not buy another Invicta again.

5Great Watch!  Jul 23, 2010
I bought this thinking that if it only lasts me a year, then it was still a pretty good deal at this price. I've had this watch for over two years now, and it's been great! I wear it pretty much every day. The mechanism is very true, only losing time if I don't happen to wear it for a day or two. The crystal has been very durable too (I've whacked it a couple times). If you're looking for a automatic watch but don't have a ton to spend, get one of these. You won't regret it!

5It's pretty much like what everyone else already said about this watch  Jul 21, 2010
I bought the invicta 8926 pro diver, an invicta 9211 speedway, and the Skagen 233LTMN. I read through countless reviews on these watches and these were my top 3. All of these watch were reviewed well and upon receiving them I would tend to agree. As for the pro diver, it's a cool watch. being able to watch the mechanics through the clear case on the back is a nice feature, for whatever reason it seems the invicta 9211 came with a heftier band, which was something I liked. All in all, it's a nice watch to have. I have not gotten to test out how much the watch holds it charge after you stop wearing it (I heard 24 hours), that could be a draw-back depending on how you plan on wearing the watch.

5Good and inexpensive watch  Jul 20, 2010
I am very happy with this purchase as the delivery was fast and a few days earlier than was told.
The purchased item is what I expected..... A good automatic diver watch, accurate and inexpensive.

2Good watch if you don't need to know what time it is.  Jul 12, 2010
I really wanted to like the watch because it was self-winding, but my watch runs about 5 minutes fast for every week. So, after about a month, I'm really just guessing what time it is.

It looks nice and does in fact wind itself, but the whole not being able to accurately keep track of time thing is a big let down.

The Importance Of Lighting In Interior Design

Everyone knows how important paint color, furniture choices and artwork are to interior design. One aspect of design that is often overlooked, however, is lighting. Lighting not only affects the brightness of the room, but it can also change the way a paint color looks, cast shadows in ways that make the room seem smaller and have an impact on the presentation of art work.

There is no light like natural light. If you are buying, building or remodeling, opt for as much natural light as possible. Oversized windows and skylights are two ways to get the most natural light. Of course, not everyone is in the position to be able to do that, so you'll have to work with what you have.

How much natural light do you get in your room? If the room in question faces north, you won't get as much natural sunlight as you would in a southern facing room. Rooms that face south get bright, natural light throughout the day. Rooms that face east will only have good natural light in the morning hours and western facing rooms will have the most light during the afternoon.

Once you are familiar with how much natural light is in each room, you'll be able to make informed choices about what additional lighting may be necessary. Keep in mind that rooms with little or no natural light will need artificial lighting - even during the day - in order to look their best. Here are some types of lighting to consider.

1. Accent Lighting

Accent lighting is perfect when you want to showcase a piece of art or a special piece of furniture or other item. Since light draws the eye, it will bring attention to the features in your room that you wish to highlight.

2. Hanging Light Features

Chandeliers and smaller hanging lamps can be beautiful as well as functional. A trip to the local home improvement store will quickly show you how overwhelming the choices can be. You'll want to select lighting that blends in with your existing décor. For example, a crystal chandelier in a country themed dining room probably isn't the best option. If you don't choose carefully, your lighting may stick out like a sore thumb and become more of an eyesore than a lovely accent.

3. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lighting is a good choice for a room that needs extra light throughout the day. Because the lighting won't interfere with the existing decor, it can work in almost any room. It provides abundant light without taking up a lot of space or interfering with other aspects of the room.

4. Lamps

Using lamps are a way to add not only additional lighting, but also punches of color. If possible, see how much light the lamp gives off before leaving the store. Many lamps serve as decoration more than as a light source and give off very little light. If you love the lamp, but it doesn't give off quite enough light, consider changing the shade which will usually solve the problem.

When decorating your home, remember how important lighting is, and give it the same thought and attention you give to the other details of decorating your home.
