4Pureology is a pretty good product  Jul 27, 2010
I always expect a miracle every time I try a new product! This is certainly not a miracle product, but it is pretty good! It makes my hair softer than most other shampoos and conditioners-although it does not get my hair as detangled as I would prefer, I would recommend it. I have dry thin hair which is a bad combo because moisturizers weigh it down and volumizers dry it out too much. Pureology is a pretty good product for my difficult hair.

5Great for My Dry, Damaged Hair  Jun 16, 2010
I have dry, damaged hair from all the years of dying and straightening but now its soft and smooth when I blow dry it. I can tell visibly this shampoo and conditioner really work, my color looks better. Everything looks better. I love this shampoo and conditioner.

5Expensive but worth it!  Feb 15, 2010
I was introduced to Pureology products years ago. My stylist suggested I use it since I was doing two chemical processes to my hair (color and perm). You will not believe how good your hair feels after using the hydrating formula of shampoo and conditioner. It also makes your scalp tingle! You will not be disappointed using this product nor any of the other products Puregology makes. I have straight fine hair so volume is what I look for and they have many products for styling. They are all worth every penny!

5My Search is Over-- This Product is Worth the $$  Dec 12, 2009
I have dirty blond hair that I've been highlighting for years and it was starting to look fried. I gave Pureology hydrating Shampoo and Conditioner a try and I'm never going back! I was hesitant about the price but after doing research I found that buying the duo online is the cheapest way to go. I bought this back in August and four months later I haven't run out of product! I have long hair and you use so little of the product with every wash that it really lasts-- and makes up for the money that I used to go through buying new shampoo/conditioner every month.

I'm not a huge fan of the smell of the product (minty) but the results more than make up for it. At first I was skeptical but after 10 days of use I saw a real change in my hair. It became silky and healthy looking-- no longer "crunchy" and less frizzy. Now I simply blowdry my hair and it looks healthy and shiny! Pureology doesn't "coat" your hair, leaving it feeling naturally soft.

I recommend this product especially if you color treat your hair! I found that the cost is worth the product if you stick to the instructions and use a dime-size each time you wash. The original bottles I purchased have lasted me 4 months and I have long hair! I usually never leave reviews but I thought I would "play it forward" so others can experience this product as well :)

5I love these products!  Dec 07, 2009
I have extremely sensitive skin on my face and most shampoos will cause a rash but not Pureology. I have thin hair and keep it dyed and it looks the best ever. It is expensive but definitely worth the price for me.

The Importance Of Lighting In Interior Design

Everyone knows how important paint color, furniture choices and artwork are to interior design. One aspect of design that is often overlooked, however, is lighting. Lighting not only affects the brightness of the room, but it can also change the way a paint color looks, cast shadows in ways that make the room seem smaller and have an impact on the presentation of art work.

There is no light like natural light. If you are buying, building or remodeling, opt for as much natural light as possible. Oversized windows and skylights are two ways to get the most natural light. Of course, not everyone is in the position to be able to do that, so you'll have to work with what you have.

How much natural light do you get in your room? If the room in question faces north, you won't get as much natural sunlight as you would in a southern facing room. Rooms that face south get bright, natural light throughout the day. Rooms that face east will only have good natural light in the morning hours and western facing rooms will have the most light during the afternoon.

Once you are familiar with how much natural light is in each room, you'll be able to make informed choices about what additional lighting may be necessary. Keep in mind that rooms with little or no natural light will need artificial lighting - even during the day - in order to look their best. Here are some types of lighting to consider.

1. Accent Lighting

Accent lighting is perfect when you want to showcase a piece of art or a special piece of furniture or other item. Since light draws the eye, it will bring attention to the features in your room that you wish to highlight.

2. Hanging Light Features

Chandeliers and smaller hanging lamps can be beautiful as well as functional. A trip to the local home improvement store will quickly show you how overwhelming the choices can be. You'll want to select lighting that blends in with your existing décor. For example, a crystal chandelier in a country themed dining room probably isn't the best option. If you don't choose carefully, your lighting may stick out like a sore thumb and become more of an eyesore than a lovely accent.

3. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lighting is a good choice for a room that needs extra light throughout the day. Because the lighting won't interfere with the existing decor, it can work in almost any room. It provides abundant light without taking up a lot of space or interfering with other aspects of the room.

4. Lamps

Using lamps are a way to add not only additional lighting, but also punches of color. If possible, see how much light the lamp gives off before leaving the store. Many lamps serve as decoration more than as a light source and give off very little light. If you love the lamp, but it doesn't give off quite enough light, consider changing the shade which will usually solve the problem.

When decorating your home, remember how important lighting is, and give it the same thought and attention you give to the other details of decorating your home.
