StriVectin-SDTM Eye Concentrate for Wrinkles (1 oz)

StriVectin-SD Eye Cream helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles around the eye. It contains the same active formula as the original StriVectin-SD Intensive Repair--the popular, cutting-edge anti-wrinkle and stretch mark repair cream--but without aromatic oils (such as peppermint), which caused some users' eyes to water when applied to the delicate skin in the orbital eye area (the eyelid and the area directly below the eye). StriVectin-SD Eye Cream is also enhanced with soothing agents to help protect the delicate skin around the eyes; it even helps reduce the appearance of dark circles.

  • Helps reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and dark circles around the eye

  • For use on the eyelid and the area directly below the eye

  • Same functional compound as the original StriVectin-SD without aromatic oils

  • Includes additional soothing agents for the delicate skin around the eye

  • Made in the USA

2It does not work for lines  May 29, 2007
By Cindy C.
I started to have lines under my eyes two years ago when I turned 26. It was about 0.5 inch long under each eye. I was totally freaked out and wanted to do something about it. I started to fight these lines two years ago with Clinique's Advanced Stop Sign. After 2 jars and no result, I had to call it a quit.
Since then, I've tried StriVectin-SD Eye Cream, Kinerase, and Creme de La Mer, which also didn't work for lines. I have to say StriVectin-SD is the worst from the bunch. It is greasy and doesn't make my skin any firmer. On a bad day, I would break out. Kinerase is a little better in that it's not greasy. La Mer was really good for firming and making my skin look dewy and soft, though it may not improve lines.
I have tried using Estee Lauder Perfectionist and Advanced night repair and they both seem to improve the lines pretty well. I think I'm gonna continue to use Estee's products until I find anything better.

5StriVectin SD Eye Cream 1.3 oz  Sep 14, 2005
By M. webley
sadly i bought this product because i heard jennifer lopez uses it, i have no idea if that is the truth but i wanted it anyway. i live in the uk, so the delivery took about three weeks, that said , the wait was worth it. i am twenty five with bad crows feet, due to late nights and alcohol a plenty, so i really did need something to help me out. after a few days of applying day and night i could tell that the lines had softened, enough to make me feel good.the dark circles under my eyes are looking lighter as well so that's a bonus. i dont think this is going to make my lines dissapear but they are hardly noticeable anymore. the cost of the product doesn'y seem that steep as the cream will last for ages, i only use a tiny drop and it's twice the size of normal eye cream's you can buy. overall i am more than pleased with the result's and i will definately be purchasing more, when the time comes.

4Overall good experience  Jul 24, 2007
By D. Stachowicz
I waited 3 weeks before I wrote this to give the product a fair chance. I didn't notice anything at first, but after about 2 weeks of twice a day use, I could tell my wrinkles were not as deep/less defined. I didn't have any of the burning/rash that others had. However, on the very inner areas of my under-eye skin I did have a few more milia (tiny white pimple bumps) than normal. I wouldn't consider it a break-out at all, just a few more bumps than usual. I only got these on the inner soft area though, not everywhere I applied it. This cream did not help my dark circles as it claimed, but since it helped my wrinkles and helped the puffiness I give it 4 stars. I still use it. I am now using this for the outer under area and corners of my eyes, and another cream (clinique all about eyes - great product) in my inner under eye area. It is hard to find a cream you like - so good luck to all of you looking. You might need to use two products like I do, and there's nothing wrong with that. I think this product is helpful for light wrinkles and overall a decent purchase.

3So-So  Apr 07, 2007

The only noticeable change is that the 2 lines between my brows are almost non-existent, so it does work somewhat... where it wants to, I guess. I have been using this product for two years. I am now 40.

5UNBELIEVABLE!  May 13, 2005
By KB
I've tried them all - perscription RetinA, laser treatments, Botox. I was highly skeptical that an over the counter cream would be effective, but the science was interesting to me. The label says you will see a difference in 28 days. I saw a difference day one, a big difference day 5, a REMARKABLE difference day 14 - now I can't WAIT for day 28. It truly is unbelievable. My crows feet - the deep ones, are dissapearing before my eyes ( and beside them!!!!) - the deep creases in my forehead and neck are significantly reduced. Consider me a convert - I only wish I could bathe in it!!!

The Importance Of Lighting In Interior Design

   by Jessica Ackerman

Everyone knows how important paint color, furniture choices and artwork are to interior design. One aspect of design that is often overlooked, however, is lighting. Lighting not only affects the brightness of the room, but it can also change the way a paint color looks, cast shadows in ways that make the room seem smaller and have an impact on the presentation of art work.

There is no light like natural light. If you are buying, building or remodeling, opt for as much natural light as possible. Oversized windows and skylights are two ways to get the most natural light. Of course, not everyone is in the position to be able to do that, so you'll have to work with what you have.

How much natural light do you get in your room? If the room in question faces north, you won't get as much natural sunlight as you would in a southern facing room. Rooms that face south get bright, natural light throughout the day. Rooms that face east will only have good natural light in the morning hours and western facing rooms will have the most light during the afternoon.

Once you are familiar with how much natural light is in each room, you'll be able to make informed choices about what additional lighting may be necessary. Keep in mind that rooms with little or no natural light will need artificial lighting - even during the day - in order to look their best. Here are some types of lighting to consider.

1. Accent Lighting

Accent lighting is perfect when you want to showcase a piece of art or a special piece of furniture or other item. Since light draws the eye, it will bring attention to the features in your room that you wish to highlight.

2. Hanging Light Features

Chandeliers and smaller hanging lamps can be beautiful as well as functional. A trip to the local home improvement store will quickly show you how overwhelming the choices can be. You'll want to select lighting that blends in with your existing décor. For example, a crystal chandelier in a country themed dining room probably isn't the best option. If you don't choose carefully, your lighting may stick out like a sore thumb and become more of an eyesore than a lovely accent.

3. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lighting is a good choice for a room that needs extra light throughout the day. Because the lighting won't interfere with the existing decor, it can work in almost any room. It provides abundant light without taking up a lot of space or interfering with other aspects of the room.

4. Lamps

Using lamps are a way to add not only additional lighting, but also punches of color. If possible, see how much light the lamp gives off before leaving the store. Many lamps serve as decoration more than as a light source and give off very little light. If you love the lamp, but it doesn't give off quite enough light, consider changing the shade which will usually solve the problem.

When decorating your home, remember how important lighting is, and give it the same thought and attention you give to the other details of decorating your home.
