1too small...........  Jul 12, 2010
By Grant M. Flora
I purchased this for a table and 4 chair set that I purchased from Walmart. (Nothing too big and nothing too special) It fits ovet the table only... (Too small!!) There were no measurements in the product discription. Don't get fooled by the "tall" in the discription... It won't fit a normal 4 chair set.

3smaller than it says in the listing  Feb 24, 2010
By Heisenberg
It's supposed to fit a table AND CHAIR set "up to 54 inches." Well, our table is 47 inches. It will go over the table, but not the chairs. 54" is the size table it can fit, but with no room for any chairs. The quality appears good, but it's going back. Star rating downgraded for the misleading listing.

3Nice Material...at first  Aug 30, 2010
By JP Folkes "Honey Do Master"
Bought several sets of these for table/chair sets and lounges in our backyard. We were tired of always having to clean these items and thought covers would be a good way to avoid this drudge work.

Well, when we got them, I was impressed with the weight/feel/look of the covers. The construction is really quite good, but unfortunately they don't stay that bright and clean looking. Over time, with exposure to elements...leaves, soot, air pollution, they've gotten dirty and stained. The nice tan color unfortunately shows all this too well. We've tried washing them as suggested, which is by hand, but once they get stained, they don't clean up very well.

Also, we found that the sizing is not very accurate and you are better off getting a larger size than you think you need, especially if you are looking to cover both the table and chairs together as we hoped to do.

After a couple of seasons, some of these covers have gotten to look pretty awful. The material is still strong, seams solid, and protecting our furniture, but just unsightly. By way of comparison, a grill cover we bought at the same time, from a different manufacturer, but in black, still looks very good.

I can't recommend this purchase. Can only imagine that in an urban environment it would get uglier much sooner. Look for something else, preferably in a color that won't show dirt so readily.

Very Nice fabric heavy and durable, nice clasps. Not quite as long as I would have liked to cover the legs only came down about 1/2 the way. I had to order a bigger size the dimesions for ordering may have been off.

4Heavy Duty  Mar 10, 2011
By mi
We have only had this for short while, so I can't attest to how well it will hold up. However, it does appear to be very well made and very heavy duty. We got the extra large; it is the right size; due to its weight, it is easier to handle with two people. I have a couple of complaints. There are not enough tie downs, and we had to use bungee cords in order to tie it down well enough that the wind doesn't blow it and the furniture away. The day after we covered our furniture, we had a pretty big storm with a lot of wind. The cover had blown off and the chairs had blown across our deck, because the cover wasn't sure enough using just the included tie-downs. Another complaint is the draw string at the bottom. It is elastic and very hard to pull, because it goes all the way around the bottom. It should not have been been made of elastic, and there should be two draw string pulls, one at each end. It is totally useless the way it is - we couldn't use it. That was disappointing, since having a useable draw-string is important in making the cover work as it should. Be sure you have a place to store the cover when it is not in use. The XL is just that, extra large, and will take a lot of room to store - we haven't quite figured out where we will store it yet. All and all, we are happy we got it. I will write a follow-up review if we encounter any problems with this cover in the future.

The Importance Of Lighting In Interior Design

   by Jessica Ackerman

Everyone knows how important paint color, furniture choices and artwork are to interior design. One aspect of design that is often overlooked, however, is lighting. Lighting not only affects the brightness of the room, but it can also change the way a paint color looks, cast shadows in ways that make the room seem smaller and have an impact on the presentation of art work.

There is no light like natural light. If you are buying, building or remodeling, opt for as much natural light as possible. Oversized windows and skylights are two ways to get the most natural light. Of course, not everyone is in the position to be able to do that, so you'll have to work with what you have.

How much natural light do you get in your room? If the room in question faces north, you won't get as much natural sunlight as you would in a southern facing room. Rooms that face south get bright, natural light throughout the day. Rooms that face east will only have good natural light in the morning hours and western facing rooms will have the most light during the afternoon.

Once you are familiar with how much natural light is in each room, you'll be able to make informed choices about what additional lighting may be necessary. Keep in mind that rooms with little or no natural light will need artificial lighting - even during the day - in order to look their best. Here are some types of lighting to consider.

1. Accent Lighting

Accent lighting is perfect when you want to showcase a piece of art or a special piece of furniture or other item. Since light draws the eye, it will bring attention to the features in your room that you wish to highlight.

2. Hanging Light Features

Chandeliers and smaller hanging lamps can be beautiful as well as functional. A trip to the local home improvement store will quickly show you how overwhelming the choices can be. You'll want to select lighting that blends in with your existing décor. For example, a crystal chandelier in a country themed dining room probably isn't the best option. If you don't choose carefully, your lighting may stick out like a sore thumb and become more of an eyesore than a lovely accent.

3. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lighting is a good choice for a room that needs extra light throughout the day. Because the lighting won't interfere with the existing decor, it can work in almost any room. It provides abundant light without taking up a lot of space or interfering with other aspects of the room.

4. Lamps

Using lamps are a way to add not only additional lighting, but also punches of color. If possible, see how much light the lamp gives off before leaving the store. Many lamps serve as decoration more than as a light source and give off very little light. If you love the lamp, but it doesn't give off quite enough light, consider changing the shade which will usually solve the problem.

When decorating your home, remember how important lighting is, and give it the same thought and attention you give to the other details of decorating your home.
