5Great quality  Apr 29, 2003
By Jadecat
After tons of agonizing, I bought a Weber Gold C grill and like most others decided I didn't want to get a cheap, flimsy cover for it, so I swallowed hard and ordered this one. It was about the same cost at Home Depot, but with free shipping and no tax, I got it here. This is the cover for the 2002 model of the Gold Genesis B and C grills, as well as the silver C. My neighbor has a Weber and when I asked him his opinion of his grill, he said he was happy with it, but wished that he had spent the extra money on a real cover, instead of buying a cheaper one that fit it. This one isn't hard to put on at all, I read somewhere that it fit like a glove and I thought, oh no, it will be hard getting it on and off. It isn't. It slides right over the grill and velcro straps on the bottom edge allow you to tighten it, even though there was no chance it would have blown off without tightening it. I also was afraid it would be like a raincoat, sticking to itselt so that you constantly had to peel it off itself to get over the grill. Not at all, it is not that sticky plasticy material, instead it is a nice weighted material and lined on the inside so it never sticks to itself. Good job Weber.

5Worth Every Penny  Feb 18, 2004
By Philip Lochner
I know some of you may be thinking, what, $55 for a grill cover? I can buy ten grill covers down at the Home Supply Store for that price!

I'm watching 55mph gusts blow around my back deck right now and the grill cover stays perfectly put. This storm has blown my plants over and blown away the cheap-o tarp I've tied around my external air conditioner housing. The wind has even moved my weber grill a few inches on my patio, but the cover stays in place!

It fits great, looks sharp, and comes off and on quickly courtesy of the velcro straps at the bottom. It even has a few "vents" sewn into it to prevent too much moisture - and mold - from building up inside of it.

4Expensive Sheath  Jun 27, 2000
By Eric Hartsock
There's nothing more frustrating than seeing your high-priced grill naked in a storm as your cheap cover is hanging from the highest limbs of your neighbor's tree.

Priced at (gulp) $60, this grill cover is essential if you're going to lay down the cash for a Weber. It's very heavy. It's strong. And, it's worth every penny.

5GREAT FIT - STAYS PUT !  Apr 13, 2004
By Karin E. Sinnott "Karin S."
I bought this for our new grill in August and have been very happy with it. I debated about purchasing it because of the cost but am very happy that I did. Let's face it after spending over $500.00 for a grill it's best to protect it and this definately serves its purpose. We have had some serious wind/rain and snow storms and the cover has stayed on through each and every one. I like that it vents to prevent moisture build up too - we have not had any problem with that at all. The adjustable straps are great for adjusting just how tight you want to make it but also allow easy removal for use and replacement afterwards. If you want a high quality product this is it !

4Naked Grills  Jun 26, 2000
By Eric Hartsock
There's nothing like a heavy grill cloth. Believe me, I've owned plenty of lightweights. When you spend more than $400 on a grill, it's tempting to subscribe to the philosophy that any tarp will do.

You see, there's nothing more frustrating, or embarrassing, than seeing your prized grill, naked to the elements, and your discount grill cover hanging from your neighbors tree. That's the irony. Cheap cloths betray you when you need them most. When the winds are high, and the rain won't stop.

This one is different. At 60 clams, it's a high-priced blankie, but it stays on. And, it's tough, so it won't puncture.

Don't let your grill go naked. It's indecent.

The Importance Of Lighting In Interior Design

   by Jessica Ackerman

Everyone knows how important paint color, furniture choices and artwork are to interior design. One aspect of design that is often overlooked, however, is lighting. Lighting not only affects the brightness of the room, but it can also change the way a paint color looks, cast shadows in ways that make the room seem smaller and have an impact on the presentation of art work.

There is no light like natural light. If you are buying, building or remodeling, opt for as much natural light as possible. Oversized windows and skylights are two ways to get the most natural light. Of course, not everyone is in the position to be able to do that, so you'll have to work with what you have.

How much natural light do you get in your room? If the room in question faces north, you won't get as much natural sunlight as you would in a southern facing room. Rooms that face south get bright, natural light throughout the day. Rooms that face east will only have good natural light in the morning hours and western facing rooms will have the most light during the afternoon.

Once you are familiar with how much natural light is in each room, you'll be able to make informed choices about what additional lighting may be necessary. Keep in mind that rooms with little or no natural light will need artificial lighting - even during the day - in order to look their best. Here are some types of lighting to consider.

1. Accent Lighting

Accent lighting is perfect when you want to showcase a piece of art or a special piece of furniture or other item. Since light draws the eye, it will bring attention to the features in your room that you wish to highlight.

2. Hanging Light Features

Chandeliers and smaller hanging lamps can be beautiful as well as functional. A trip to the local home improvement store will quickly show you how overwhelming the choices can be. You'll want to select lighting that blends in with your existing décor. For example, a crystal chandelier in a country themed dining room probably isn't the best option. If you don't choose carefully, your lighting may stick out like a sore thumb and become more of an eyesore than a lovely accent.

3. Recessed Lighting

Recessed lighting is a good choice for a room that needs extra light throughout the day. Because the lighting won't interfere with the existing decor, it can work in almost any room. It provides abundant light without taking up a lot of space or interfering with other aspects of the room.

4. Lamps

Using lamps are a way to add not only additional lighting, but also punches of color. If possible, see how much light the lamp gives off before leaving the store. Many lamps serve as decoration more than as a light source and give off very little light. If you love the lamp, but it doesn't give off quite enough light, consider changing the shade which will usually solve the problem.

When decorating your home, remember how important lighting is, and give it the same thought and attention you give to the other details of decorating your home.
